Seymour Library Newsletter for Sept 2026. The newsletter contains images from events that took place in August and a list of events coming up in September. Sept 9 at 2pm - Create Your Own Gratitude Journal at the Seymour Cassadaga. Sept 16th at 2pm -Seymour Cassadaga Book Club has their monthly meeting. September 16th at 1pm at Seymour Cassadaga- Uses, Q&A on Alzheimer's kits. Sept 17th at 4pm - Mary's Book Club at Seymour Stockton building in the Town of Stockton Offices downstairs. Sept 17th at 4:30pm- Alzheimer's Assoc will host a class at Seymour Stockton on Alzheimers, Know the 10 warning signs.

Join Library Staff at the on the 3rd Saturday of every month for a story/craft. Sept 21st at 5pm- The Basics- Drywall Edition- Join teacher Biancca Riggle, for a class on drywall. This is a class for women who want to learn about home repairs. The class materials are $10. Please RSVP to 715-595-3822. September 26th at 11am- Adulting 101- Life Skills for Teens and Young Adults- Join us at the Seymour Cassadaga. Participants will sew a tote bag! Please RSVP so we know how much food to get. October Events (Not all dates are confirmed, but this is what is in the works for next month! If there is something you would like to teach or learn, let us know! Adulting 101 -Sept partiicpants will decide what to do next- stay tuned and be ready to sign up! The Basics- the Sept class will decide this topic, but we're sure you'll want to save the third Monday of the month for this! Our Alzheimer's series will continue- watch our social media and the local newspaper! Watch for our local author event! multiple authors, endless stories, and a celebration of local talent. Remember Halloween at the Library! Spooky and Fun!

The 1901 the second charter reflected the name change to The Mary E Seymour Memorial Free Library to honor Mr. Seymour's daughter Mary E. who passed away in 1894. "There comes a day each September when you wake up and know the summer is over and fall has arrived."- Unknown Ongoing Activities Wednesdays 1pm- Knitting and Crocheting- Cassadaga Third Wednesdays 4pm- Cassadaga book Club- Cassadaga Third Saturdays 11am- Craft/Story Hour- Cassadaga Third Thursdays 4pm- Mary's Book Club in the Stockton Town Offices (under the Lbrary) Library Hours Cassadaga: M/W/F (12-6), Sat (10-2) Stockton : T/Th 12-6, & Sat 10-2 Contact us at Info@stocktonlibraries.org, or follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
