Alzheimer's Class- Know the Ten Warning Signs

Join us at the Seymour Cassadaga Branch on Wed, Sept 16th at 4:30 pm for a Alzheimer's Assoc class "Know the Ten Warning Signs".     Know the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s is an Alzheimer’s Association educational program designed to help individuals recognize common signs of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. This session is ideal for community members, caregivers, family members, and anyone who wants to better understand when memory or behavior changes may be cause for concern.
     Participants will learn to distinguish between normal age related changes and warning signs that may indicate Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. The program explains why early detection is important and how recognizing symptoms early can lead to better access to care, treatment options, planning, and support.

During this session, participants will:
Learn the 10 common warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease
Understand the difference between typical aging and concerning changes
Gain tips for approaching someone about memory or behavior concerns
Explore the importance and benefits of early detection
Learn about available resources and next steps through the Alzheimer’s Association
